During Summer 2018, we had the task of converting an aged conservatory of 25 years, of which our client complained was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter.

What did we do?

Working with the client to design the build, the aim was to convert the same footprint to a practical, useable living space all year round. 

Removing the vast expanse of glass and building up the brickwork to recreate the structure enabled a solid roof and replacement double glazed windows and bi-fold doors to be installed. Internal works brought electrics and central heating into the space allowing that extra comfort.
Converting this impractical space has transformed the rear the house without amending the footprint of the property.
